This is an ACA (Alerting Communicators of America) Alertronic AL-4000 however, Edwards Signaling rebranded these sirens as the Adaptalert series, and the specifics of the Edwards rebrand are unknown at this time.

Project Info: 

This siren once stood at the Ontario Power Generation plant in Sombra, ON as O.P.G.'s warning siren a long time ago. In 2022 the plant was demolished and the siren speaker array was removed and listed for auction, Sirens & Aviation and More bid and won the bid for the siren. The siren did not have controls The controls may have been removed long ago. This siren was purchased in May 2023 and acquired on May 30th, 2023.

Updates:

On July 8th, 2023 during the siren meet all (except 2) speaker drivers were tested and only one out of the batch was found to be bad, Sirens & Aviation and More replaced the bad Atlas 100 Watt driver with an FS 100 Watt driver from a Federal Signal AH-100 speaker horn.
